Keltech has and continues to foster an environment of promoting from within. Over 80% of all senior promotions in the last 5 years have come from within.

Now for what sets Keltech apart: In recent times we have built on this key knowledge through external education of personnel in areas such as acoustics, hydraulic engineering, electronics etc, these key resources/employees now allow us be the leaders in our chosen fields.  Here at Keltech we like to class this strategy as “structured innovation”  through our people!

Since 2012 and ongoing the following training has being completed or is in the process of being complete

  • Lean Manufacturing Masters: Level 9 (3 people)
  • Business Studies Degree: Level 8 (2 people)
  • Engineering Diploma (Welding): Level 6 (10 people)
  • Certificate in Mechanical Engineering: Level 6 (3 people)
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering: Level 8
  • International selling: Level 9
  • Sales Management Masters: Level 9
  • Diploma in HR: Level 9

“City & Guilds” at Keltech: Engineering Diploma’s are  delivered in house at Keltech. We have 3 qualified trainers who deliver the programme with periodic “City and Guilds” external verification. The programme now in it’s infancy for shop floor operators has proven to be extremely popular, training happens within the companies 4 walls and successful candidates are awarded credits upon completion of each module. The in house trainers come with a wealth of industry specific knowledge allowing the course/learning be tailored to suit the needs of Keltech. Being housed on site throughout the programme allows flexibility in terms of the delivery of the training. On completion the level award is 6 and is recognisable by all major 3rd level institutions. Applications are accepted from current Keltech staff only however we encourage all new entrants to express an interest and in due course your place on the scheme will be considered.
